Driver CPC
The European Union published a Directive in July 2003 that required all category C and D license holders (lorry and bus drivers) to take part in 35 hours training every five years. This started in September 2008 for Bus Drivers and September 2009 for Truck drivers.
Solent Training Limited has been approved by the Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT) to deliver Driver CpC alongside the ADR (Dangerous Goods) training.
Current Courses Available.
ADR - 3 day (21 hours) DCpC accreditation is is now available with our ADR courses. This can also be split down into one, two or three 7 hour accreditation days depending on type of ADR training undertaken.

- First Aid on the Road (PCV & LGV)
- Site Safety, 'O' Licensing, Oil & Fuel (PCV & LGV)
- Driver's Hours (PCV & LGV)
- Safety behind the Wheel (PCV & LGV)
- Fire & Evacuation (PCV & LGV)
- Vehicle Checks, Safety Equipment & PPE (PCV & LGV)
Candidates to attend any TWO of the six modules within the 7 hour training session.
